To Niels, dreams are so much more than just dreams.

Physical Appearance
For a man who just got offered a position in part of Cinnabar's most prestigious order of warriors and knights, Niels looks awfully effeminate. Not that women can't be knights of course, but most of the warriors tend to be muscular and masculine regardless of gender. After all, it takes quite a few muscles to swing a greatsword around. Niels doesn't have a greatsword, which is good because he's not particularly muscular. He keeps his weapons on his hips, small vials of purple smoke collected from his Munna. His hair, once dark blond, has taken on purplish undertones from years of Dream Mist exposure. His eyes - unlike the portrait above - are not purple, as much as Niels would have wished. A necklace, inscribed with the symbol he saw in his dreams, always hangs from his neck, a constant reminder of the dreams he no longer has.
